Summer Home Learning A summer booklet for children to complete as home learning during the summer holiday. The summer booklet encourages children to record and rate the books that they have read during the summer, to look at the weather, to record what they have learnt, tried and enjoyed and to use their senses to think about the different things that they have experienced. There are two versions of the booklet - a colour version and a black and white version. My New Class A set of 15 activity worksheets for children to complete when they join their new class. These worksheets are aimed at Year 1 children. The topics covered in the sheets are - All About Me My Shield My New Class My Number Caterpillar My Name Reading and Writing Words Number Matching Counting My Hopes and Dreams When I Grow Up My Factfile My School Factfile Classroom Treasure Hunt My Portrait My Friends Children enjoy completing the sheets and sharing their knowledge and information about themselves and the worksheets provide an opportunity for the class teacher to assess children’s knowledge of number and their writing abilities. This resource includes two versions - a colour version and a black and white version.
